SILVERFISH

Due to their nocturnal lifestyle, silverfish may not be visible during the day. They are not biting, nor do they carry any disease. They consume books, cardboard boxes, wallpaper, and can even get into food and clothing, which makes them more of a "nuisance" bug. They search for places with a lot of moisture, such as bathrooms or places where there may be leakage from pipes. When you turn on the light, you might notice them under a pile of damp laundry or in the sink area.
