BEE & WASP CONTROL

Bee & Wasp Control

Thousands of species of wasps and bees exist! Some are carnivorous, meaning they consume other insects and some make honey or  pollinate a significant amount of our food! Nevertheless, some are innately more aggressive and will sting people, occasionally causing allergic reactions. Others establish their colonies inside or close to homes; these are the ones we refer to as "pests."

DO NOT seal off their entrance. The most common mistake a homeowner makes if they see one of these "pests" entering a crack outside their home is to seal it up, since the crack serves as the pest's entrance and exit from their nest. If it's closed up, those inside won't be able to escape, so they'll search for another door, which might open up a route into your house. Hundreds of wasps have been observed flying around in houses, which is very challenging to control. Do not close up the gaps until the area has been treated because they have the potential to become hostile and dangerous.

Check This Out!

This is a picture of a wasp nest located six feet into the home wall that was found during a kitchen remodel 3 years after we treated the outside crack in the house. This large wasp nest was inactive because we had treated the small crack as soon as the homeowner spotted the activity near the front entryway. Give us a call if you spot one of these bee/wasp pests making their way into your home's siding.
